Fellowships to Attend Vernacular Architecture Conference - Due February 1, 2018

The Vernacular Architecture Forum (VAF) announces two awards to support attendance at its annual meeting, which will take place in 2018 in Alexandria, Virginia, May 2-5, 2018 (vafweb.org/Potomac-2018). The Access Award (vafweb.org/Access-Award) supports first-time attendance by scholars and students with limited professional exposure to the fields of architectural history and vernacular studies, as well as by practitioners and independent scholars in the field.

The Orlando Ridout V Fieldwork Fellowship Committee is pleased to announce that funding for fieldwork project is still available in the 2017 grant cycle for projects to be commenced in the winter of 2017 and Spring of 2018.  The deadline for applications to the various grant categories has been extended to December 1.
