HGSG Student Research Award
This workshop provides mentorship, hands-on research experience, and advanced training in designing and executing a project using qualitative methods for advanced undergraduates and beginning graduate students. Students will receive six weeks of intensive methodological training in the design and practice of qualitative research. Hosted by the Center for Ethnographic Research at UC Berkeley. Scholarships are available for students studying Native American issues.

Call for Undergraduate Research Papers for the Pencak Prize
Nominations are now open for the Pennsylvania Historical Association’s 2019 William Pencak Award for the best undergraduate research paper about Pennsylvania and/or mid-Atlantic history.
The Stellhorn Award recognizes excellence in undergraduate writing about New Jersey history. It commemorates the career of an outstanding and much-loved historian of New Jersey, the late Paul A. Stellhorn.
