Deadline Approaching! ASMEA Research and Travel Grant Applications Due March 31

The deadline for the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA)  Travel and Research Grant Program is March 31, 2017.

Grants are awarded in conjunction with the Tenth Annual ASMEA Conference in Washington, D.C., October 19 – 21, 2017. Grant awards range from $500 to $2500.

Reminder-Call for Papers: A Transnational Account of Turkish Foreign Policy (The deadline for abstract submission is January 30, 2017)

In the past few decades, the non-state actors' presence and influence in world politics have been acknowledged. However, there seems to be a lack of engagement with transnational dynamics in the area of foreign policy studies. State-centric accounts that still seem to have a dominant position in analyses of interstate relations are not the only way in which foreign policy should be approached.
