Reminder: H-Slavery's Topical Guides

Dear Subscribers,

This is just a quick reminder as we approach the winter break that H-Slavery maintains a series of Topical Guides, described here: https://networks.h-net.org/node/11465/pages/118519/topical-guides. Scholars interested in writing a guide are welcome to reach out to me. Between being circulated to our 3,000+ subscribers and being published online on an open-access model, they find a wide readership.

Best wishes,

Reminder: H-Slavery's Topical Guides

Dear Subscribers,

I wanted to send a quick reminder of the opportunity to write a topical guide for H-Slavery. An outline of the process and a catalog of previous guides is available here: https://networks.h-net.org/node/11465/pages/118519/topical-guides. These guides tend to garner a wide readership, with our most popular one having received 5,000 views with an average visit time of 5 minutes, which is a pretty remarkable readership for a bibliographic overview.

Kind Regards,

Topical Guides

H-Slavery's Topical Guides provide critical overviews of research topics in the study of slavery. Scholars of all ranks interested in contributing to the series are welcomed to email us at editorial-slavery@mail.h-net.org to propose a topic and discuss editorial procedures. Topical guides range from approximately 1,000 to 2,500 words and can address broad or specific subjects. Authors are welcomed to propose topics that overlap modestly with existing topical guides.
