Zanzibar Study Abroad Summer 2017

Intensive Swahili in Zanzibar, Summer 2017

Consider joining the University of Oregon's Summer Abroad Program in Zanzibar this summer. This program is open to ALL undergraduates and graduate students, NO experience in Swahili is required, and students with summer FLAS funds are welcome. Students will earn 16 units of academic credit from the University of Oregon during the 8-week program.

Registration open: Conference on East African Maritime Cultures

Registration for the conference titled "Early Maritime Cultures on the East African Coast" is now open. Registration and attendance are FREE for all. The conference will be held on October 23-24 2015 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
