Party renewal and reform in South Africa’s ruling ANC
At this webinar, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, treasurer general of the ANC, discusses the ANC’s renewal agenda and its plans for delivering national economic growth.
I am making an invitation to scholars in a range of fields and disciplines to test and critique some of the core assumptions of Apartheid Studies (AS), a new theoretical approach to the study of persistent socio-economic, socio-historical and socio-cultural problems in society. The keyword is "persistence".
The International Studies Group (ISG) at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa, has vacancies for postdoctoral Research Fellows starting in April 2023, with an annual stipend of ZAR 275,000. The positions are full-time for one year, with the possibility of extension for a further two years contingent on satisfactory progress. The ISG, headed by Professor Ian Phimister, is a research-intensive department, made up of post-doctoral Fellows and PhD students.
