American Geographical Society Library Research Fellowships 2023

The American Geographical Society Library fellowship program was created to give scholars from this country and abroad an opportunity to pursue their work in proximity to a distinguished collection of primary sources. Approximately 4-8 fellowships are awarded each year for periods of time usually ranging from two to four weeks.

On October 11, 2022, Nature published a post discussing the recent announcement by Science that authors will now be permitted to publish preprints of their articles online without being required to pay article processing charges (APCs). 
 
This follows the announcement by the Biden administration that federally-funded, peer-feviewed research must be made available in an agency-approved public repository without delay by 2026.
