The Virtual Library of Social and Cultural Anthropology is a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and based at the Humboldt University Library of Berlin which is responsible for the Special Subject Collections "General and Comparative Folkore Studies" and "General and Comparative Social Anthropology".

Folkstreams is a non-profit dedicated to finding, preserving, contextualizing, and showcasing documentary films on American traditional cultures. Some films are accompanied by teaching guides for use in the classroom.
