For over forty years, the Summer Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has provided scholars from around the world with the opportunity to work in our Library's famous collections in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies.

Smith College Special Collections offer four extended-term fellowships:

 

The Margaret Storrs Grierson Fellowship is named in honor of the

founding Director of the Sophia Smith Collection, and former College

Archivist and Executive Secretary of the Friends of the Smith College

Library.

 

The Friends of the Smith College Libraries Fellowship is generously

supported by the Friends of the Smith College Libraries in support of

research across the collections.

NASSH: Joe Arbena Latin American Sport History Grant

The Joe Arbena Latin-American Sport History Grant is designed to advance the study and exploration of Latin American sport history. Up to $1,000 per year will be granted. It is expected that, upon completion, this research shall be presented at a North American Society for Sport History (NASSH) conference. Candidates are eligible for one-time funding.

The Holocaust Educational Foundation of Northwestern University (HEF) is pleased to announce the 2019 Sharon Abramson Research Grant competition.  HEF will award five grants of up to $4,000 to support research related to the Holocaust of European Jewry. Graduate students in PhD programs who have completed their qualifying exams and university/college faculty at all levels whose research centers on the Holocaust are eligible for this grant. We encourage applications in all disciplines.
