Dear Colleagues,

The book is available from Amazon in Kindle, Hardcover, and Paperback. For further information, please visit the Polity Press website at http://www.politybooks.com/book.asp?ref=0745680542#toc
Book Description:
Thanks to those who replied off-list to my request for information about physician Lin Qiaozhi 林巧稚. Chris White, I'd like to talk with you more about Lin since you've done work in Xiamen. Please reply off-list at tina.johnson@stvincent.edu. Thanks again!
Tina Phillips Johnson
There is a chapter on Lin in the first volume of the Salt and Light series edited by Carol Hamrin and Stacey Bieler. It does not have much new information, but it is an English account of her life, with special emphasis on her Protestant connection, something most Chinese accounts overlook.
