Call for Papers to be Included in a Panel to be Proposed to DN22- Discourse, Power, Subjectivation

Hullo there!

I am collecting papers to include in a panel on Michel Foucault, which I will be proposing to the conference DN22- Discourse, Power, Subjectivation that will be held on 12-14 September 2018 in Giessen, Germany.

In this panel, I intend to include 4-5 papers that deal with the Foucauldian notions of discourse, power, subjectivation, and sex/sexuality/gender.

Re: ISSF Review Essay 36 on Tokens of Power: Rethinking War

All: There is only one key problem in this otherwise excellent article, "ISSF Review Essay 36 on Tokens of Power: Rethinking War." The friendly casualty estimates for casualties in DESERT STORM (aka the Gulf War of 1991) were far too HIGH, not low. This in turn gobbled up an incredible amount of on call air mobility aircraft for the planned medical evacuation of hundreds, if not thousands, of seriously wounded troops to European hospitals for Class IV medical care.
