Call for Panelists: OAH session on Independent Scholars

The Organization of American Historians is putting together a panel to discuss the challenges of being an Independent Scholar, which would take place during a luncheon at the 2018 annual meeting in Sacramento.  Panelists would receive free conference registration and free lunch at the session.  The conference occurs April 12-14, 2018.  Please contact Joan Zenzen at joanz10@verizon.net if you have an interest in learning more about the session and how you might contribute.  Responding sooner than later would be much appreciated!

DEADLINE: SUBMISSIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY OCTOBER 3, 2016

One award is given annually to the author of the best book in American social history. Merle Curti was president of the OAH 1951–1952.

Each entry must be published during the period January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016.
