Re: #Slaveryarchive Book Club

Dear Sandy

Thank you. The #slaveryarchive is a hashtag I created on social media years ago. The #Slaveryarchive book club is a private initiative by 4 scholars.

We are historians and academics working full time in EST time in the United States, therefore we established the times according our own availability because we work here and we are providing our free time for this initiative.

Re: #Slaveryarchive Book Club

Hi all involved in the Slavery Archive Book Club:
This is a great initiative (thank you) and I look forward to participating --- provided those of us who research and publish on Red Sea and Indian Ocean slavery are not excluded? You specify "slavery and the Afro-Atlantic world."
You say: "Meetings are held on Wednesdays once or twice a month from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Authors based in Europe or Africa present on Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
All meetings are held at EST time United States and Canada.
