NJSAA Announces Mappen Student Research Grant Winners

 

The New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance (NJSAA) is pleased to announce the October 2020 winners of its Mappen Student Research Grant, which supports work on any aspect of New Jersey studies. This $300 grant is open to both high school and college students (undergraduate and graduate).

 

Rutgers' Thomas Frusciano to be presented McDonough Award this Tuesday

Rutgers University Archivist Thomas J. Frusciano will be presented the 2017 Roger H. McDonough Librarianship Award at the New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance's meeting this Tuesday, October 24th. The annual award, named for New Jersey State Librarian McDonough, has been given since 2002 to a librarian, archivist, or manuscript curator for excellence in service to the New Jersey history research community and general public. The award presentation will take place at 3 pm in the Pane Room, first floor of Alexander Library, Rutgers-New Brunswick. The event is free and open to the public.
