A new issue of Emotion Researcher (the newsletter for the International Society for Research on Emotion) is now available.

As well as serving as a newsletter for members of ISRE, Emotion Researcher acts as a permanent, expanding, online resource, featuring expert, cross-disciplinary discussions concerning fundamental aspects of emotion.

TOC: Latin American history of medicine highlight issue

To celebrate the 25th International Congress of History of Science and Technology in Rio de Janeiro this month, the editors of Social History of Medicine have compiled a virtual highlight issue on Latin America, which will be available for free until the end of September 2017. This Highlight issue contains 14 research articles, which underline the rich and diverse research in and on Latin America, from 18th-century anti-venereal trials in Mexico to the Cold War politics of population control in Haiti and biotypology in Brazil.
