Aesthetics and Resistance: Call for Contributions to a Panel Series at GSA 2023
This book edited by me was recently published by Routledge, New Delhi (2022) and London (2021), ISBN 978-1-032-23410-6, number of pages 218. In it I and another 13 international scholars challenge the hegemony of colonial modernity over academic disciplines and over ways in which we think about something as fundamental as time. The volume reclaims a bouquet of alternative practices of time from premodern South Asia, which stem from worldviews that have been marginalized.

Der Sonderforschungsbereich 1288 "Praktiken des Vergleichens" (Universität Bielefeld) lädt in Zusammenarbeit mit der Fakultät für Linguistik und Literaturwissenschaft (Universität Bielefeld) und dem Schweizerischen Nationalfonds ein, Beitragsvorschläge für die interdisziplinäre Konferenz "Comparing Landscapes: Approaches to Space and Affect in Literary Fiction" einzureichen. Die Tagung wird am 20. und 21. April 2023 im ZiF Bielefeld stattfinden. Auf Anfrage haben wir die Frist bis zum 19. Februar 2023 verlängert & nehmen nun auch Einreichungen für deutschsprachige Beiträge an!
