Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Edinburgh International Graduate Conference in Late Antique, Islamic and Byzantine Studies, this inter-disciplinary and inter-collegiate conference aims to bring together students and academics alike to discuss and develop a holistic approach to the study of the History and material culture of the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Papers shall be presented by graduate students and established academics from within the University and further afield.

Berea College announces a tenure-track position in History at the rank of assistant professor in the ancient, late antique, or medieval history of Europe and/or the Mediterranean, beginning August 2020. We are especially interested in candidates with demonstrated expertise in material culture, digital history, or the history of gender. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is highly desirable.
