Very, Very thank you to Prof. Moise for his most extensive Bibliography on Guerrilla war.
Two of the more recognizable names before Vietnam and 66-67 were the works of Trinquier and Galula, who efforts were then among the leading volumes.
There was one written, cannot recall the name , about British counterinsurgency victory in Malaya during the 1950s.
I have two online bibliographies that should be useful in a course dealing with insurgency and counterinsurgency:
"Theories of Limited War and Counterinsurgency" http://edmoise.sites.clemson.edu/limited.html
lists mostly older works, and works relating to the Indochina Wars.
