For the third straight year, the German Studies Association and the Berlin Program for Advanced German and European Studies are presenting a summer lecture at the Free University of Berlin featuring a visiting member of the GSA. This year Professor Joy H. Calico (Vanderbilt University) will speak on “Arnold Schoenberg’s A Survivor from Warsaw in Postwar Europe: Musical Remigration and Holocaust Commemoration in the Germanys.” Her address will take place on 30 June 2015, from 6-8 pm at the Freie Universität Berlin, Seminarzentrum, Room L115, Ottovon-Simson-Str. 26, 14195 Berlin.
