The use of H-NJ changed after the move from listserv to the current format. Feedback from new and experienced users will help H-Net take stock of where we are, and where we want to go. Please consider participating in this porcess.

As part of the H-Net 25th Anniversary Crossroads commemoration, over the past year the editors at H-Net have been looking through the logs of the various networks from back in the listserv era (prior to 2014), and publishing a sort of "greatest hits" compilation of threads they found to be especially active. Today they contacted the editors of H-NJ to let us know our network has been added to the Mining the Logs collection.

A memorial service for our dear departed friend and colleague Marc Mappen will be held on February 3, 2019.

With heavy hearts we here give notice that the H-New-Jersey Board, along with the broader history community, has lost a friend and champion with the passing of Marc Mappen. There will be future commemorations and celebrations of his life; for now we share the information provided by his family.
