Centered around the theme Interdependent Bodies: Disability, Creation, and Reimagining Relationality, the second annual Accessing the Divine conference on March 3, 2023 at Boston College School of Theology and Ministry in Chestnut Hill, MA invites participants to reimagine what it means to be human through the lens of disabled embodiment.

Introduction: About once a month (supply allowing), we post a listing of recently published historical articles about disability (somewhat broadly defined). These articles are usually found on the "current periodicals" shelves at a university library, from the most recent two calendar years (right now, 2019-2020).

Call for Editors: H-Disability

We are looking for two disability historians to join the H-Disability editorial team!

Established in response to expanding scholarly interest, as well as the perceived need for collaborative resource-sharing, H-Disability is a scholarly forum that explores a multitude of historical issues around disability. The network not only offers historians an opportunity to exchange ideas, syllabi, scholarly work, and archival sources, but also seeks to attract historians of other specialties who are grappling with similar issues.
