Five Days To Learn A New Thing About H-Net Each Day: H-Announce

What's happening?  You can find out on H-Announce: http://networks.h-net.org/h-announce

Adapted from the site:  H-Announce is a moderated one-way distribution network for announcing events, upcoming conferences, calls for papers, calls for publication, programs, workshops, sources of funding, fellowships, and news from H-Net and its affiliates.

Change to H-Announce digests

Friends:

If you have signed up to receive Announcements via the H-Announce digest system, you will find that the announcements are now being organized by type.   This returns to the system that H-Announce used before it was transferred to the Commons and should make it easier for you to find announcements of the sort that you are interested in.  The Calls for Papers are appearing twice a week because there are so many of them.  the announcements themselves are posted to the web as they are approved, but the digest of these announcements will come the following day.
