Dear Colleagues,
I realise this is rather last minute, but I am looking to put together a panel for SHCY2023 concerning girlhood and the body, broadly construed.
My own research is about Australian teenage girls in the 1990s. More specifically, I am studying a series of unpublished letters sent to a teen magazine (Dolly) in which girls discuss eating disorders as well as skin issues, body hair and other aspects of puberty.
