Online and in-person film screening: Djibril Diop Mambéty's Hyenas at Sands Films Cinema Club in collaboration with QMUL and UCL

Join us on Tuesday 27th July at 8pm (GMT), for an online and in-person screening of Djibril Diop Mambéty's Hyenas (1992). The film both follows-up on his Afro surrealist classic, Touki Bouki (1973) and offers an imaginative reworking of Swiss dramatist Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s The Visit (1956), a tragicomedy about a wealthy woman who offers the people of her hometown a fortune if they will execute the man who seduced and abandoned her.
