Dear Colleagues,

I apologize for cross-posting, but I'm hoping that you will do me the kindness of forwarding the following announcement to your students. I'm a US anthropologist living in Florence since 2006, conducting research and working with a range of study abroad programs, and I'm drawing on that combined experience to offer my own summer program in ethnographic research methods. Please feel free to contact me for any more information or just to talk about urban research in Europe. Grazie mille!

My own research and teaching includes a specific focus on sport, and so I would welcome students from any discipline with an interest in sport studies who are looking for an ethnographic field experience over the summer.
