Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that volume 20 of Judaica Librarianship, the peer-reviewed journal of the Association of Jewish Libraries, has been published. The 2017 issue (https://ajlpublishing.org/jl/) incudes research papers and essays, book reviews, and two columns—one of them is our new JS/DH column by Michelle Chesner, for reviewing digital humanities projects in Jewish Studies.

Join the new Philly Regional Islandora User Group!

The Philly Islandora User Group intends to bring together those who have similar interests, goals, or concerns regarding the implementation, management, and preservation of Islandora systems. We hope to have quarterly meetings where we can share ideas, concerns, and experiences while potentially building partnerships for project collaboration. A Philly Islandora Slack group has been created to provide an online venue for discussion and keep members in touch and in tune with each other’s activities between meetings.

CFP: Geistliche Liederdichter deutscher Sprache in Mittelalter und Früher Neuzeit, Berlin (30.11.2017)

Die Tagung findet vom 23. bis 24. Juli 2018 im Rahmen des Berliner Repertoriums statt, einem Langzeitprojekt der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

CFP: Geistliche Liederdichter deutscher Sprache in Mittelalter und Früher Neuzeit, Berlin (30.11.2017)

Die Tagung findet im Rahmen des Berliner Repertoriums statt, einem Langzeitprojekt der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Lateinische Hymnen und Sequenzen haben immer wieder ihre Übersetzer und Bearbeiter gefunden, wobei deren Mehrzahl anonym blieb und in Prosa formulierte, während die zahlenmäßig geringeren Versdichtungen von bekannten Dichtern kommen, die sich als eigenständige Autoren verstanden und aufeinander Bezug nahmen.
