1st Iberoamerican Congress of Local History

Local History is an essential branch of modern and contemporary historical analysis. However, its consideration in the profession as a whole and within the Humanities in general continues to be less, not having a pre-sence according to its relevance neither in the curricula nor in the research projects that are currently being developed in the academic and scientific fields of most universities. Its importance is, in any case, indisputable for a better understanding of historical reality, at least for the following reasons.
