CONFERENCE REGISTRATION EXTENDED: The Holocaust and Motherhood

Registration for the Holocaust Research Institute's upcoming conference, 'The Holocaust and Motherhood', has been extended until Friday 9 March 2018.

The conference consists of two separate events. On the evening of Thursday 22 March 2018, Dr Zoë Waxman (University of Oxford) will deliver a keynote lecture on 'Mothers, Sisters, Resisters? Motherhood and the Holocaust Twenty Years On' at The Wiener Library, central London, UK. This event is free; please click here to register.

Society for Military History Conference Mentoring Program Deadline

Folks--

The SMH Conference registration page (http://louisville.edu/history/events/smhc ) includes a choice for MA & Ph.D students to have a chance to meet with a mentor at the conference ( a senior scholar in military history).  The deadline for the mentoring program is March 1, so if you’re interested, be sure to register for the conference before then.

Conference: Wagner 1900, 9–11 April 2018, Oxford

Registration is now open for Wagner 1900, an interdisciplinary conference hosted by Jesus College and the Faculty of Music at the University of Oxford on 9–11 April 2018.
 
With a rich academic programme, Wagner 1900 will investigate the impact of Richard Wagner on fin-de-siècle Vienna in music, history, politics, the visual arts, theatre and German culture.
 
The conference features two performances:
