Re: Books, articles, etc on water in California and water and climate change for first year undergrad history seminar

Robert Kelley's _Battling the Inland Sea_ (1989) is not a new book, but it is readable, and highlights the conflict between agriculture and other water uses in California.

_Bay Cities and Water Politics_ (1998) places California cities' water projects in a national context, and also spends a bit of time on urban-rural water conflicts.
