The History of Children and Youth Group (HCYG) of the Canadian Historical Association (CHA) is interested in sponsoring English, French or bilingual panels at the 2019 Annual Meeting of the CHA to be held at UBC, June 3-5, 2019. I am looking for anyone who might be interested in participating in a panel on relationships between farmers and agricultural scientists and agricultural colleges in the late nineteenth-century. My own paper focuses on educational outreach in Michigan from 1875-1900 and the building of a trusting relationship between the agricultural college and farmers. If you are interested or have suggestions please respond or email me at sw2310[at]msstate.edu

Unfortunately one of the panelists has had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances and consequently I am looking for a new speaker.
