The Linda Hall Library is now accepting applications for its 2023-24 fellowship program. These fellowships provide graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and independent scholars in the history of science and related humanities fields with financial support to explore the Library’s outstanding science and engineering collections. Fellows also participate in a dynamic intellectual community alongside in-house experts and scholars from other Kansas City cultural and educational institutions.

Applicants are sought for research positions in the Environmental History of Socialism and the History of Socialist Science at the UCL Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) within the framework of The Socialist Anthropocene in the Visual Arts (SAVA), a project funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) under the UK government’s Horizon Europe funding guarantee.

Istanbul Research Institute (İAE) and Koç University’s Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) are pleased to announce a new joint fellowship to support one post-doctoral scholar conducting research on the archaeology, architecture, art history, heritage, or history of Istanbul. The fellow will benefit from residence in Istanbul and the facilities of both the İAE and ANAMED.
The Consortium for History of Science, Technology and Medicine invites applications for 4-month or 9-month fellowships in the history of science, technology and medicine, broadly construed. The Consortium’s NEH Fellows receive a monthly stipend of $5,000 ($45,000 for nine months and $20,000 for four months). Fellows are expected to participate in Consortium events and conduct research at two or more member institutions. The Consortium’s NEH Fellowships are available to scholars who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
