Marine Corps History journal is accepting submissions for the 2023 issue year

First up--Summer 2023:

Submit your articles for the Summer 2023 issue of Marine Corps History journal! The editors are looking for new and unique research into the history of the Marine Corps. Junior faculty and advanced graduated students are encouraged to submit. Submission deadline is 1 January 2023.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Concordia University Library / Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies Best Book in Israel Studies Award

 

The Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies and Concordia University Library are pleased to announce that submissions for their annual Award for Best Book in Israel Studies is now open!

The winner will receive a prize of $1000 Canadian dollars and be invited to the award ceremony in Montreal.

Deadline to submit is August 15, 2022.

Call for Submissions for Wiley-Silver Prize for Best First Book in Civil War History

The Center for Civil War Research is accepting submissions for the annual Wiley-Silver Prize in Civil War History. The prize will be awarded to the best first book in Civil War history published in 2021. It recognizes exceptional emerging scholars in the history of the American Civil War. The prize is named for two distinguished former members of the University's History Department faculty, Bell Irvin Wiley and James W. Silver.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Jeanne! One of the things that makes this reboot of H-teach particularly unique is that our focus will no longer be just on teaching History at the university level. Anyone who is involved in history education at any point of the life span (K-12, higher ed, community ed) is welcome to join our network. .Jeanne's post is an excellent example of this.
