March 23 at Monmouth University, West Long Branch

2019 DC National History Day call for judges

Volunteer to serve as a judge at the 2019 DC National History Day competition on Wednesday, April 10 (Junior Division) and/or Thursday, April 11 (Senior Division) at the National Archives, 700 Pennsylvania Avenue, DC.

The 2019 theme is Triumph and Tragedy in History.  Numerous middle and high school students in DC immerse themselves in in-depth research, and create original exhibits, documentaries, websites, performances, or papers exploring a breath of historical topics.

New Jersey History Day - be a volunteer judge!

It’s that time of year again! The run up to the NJ National History Day competitions is here!

Please consider encouraging young people’s work in our field of interest by serving as a judge in one or more of the competitions. It is a great day to soak up the enthusiasm students bring to their presentations, and to marvel at the quality of the research these middle and high school students carry out. It is also a great opportunity to meet other judges, to reconnect with old friends and colleagues and make new connections.
