The H-Empire Team is looking to expand our base of book reviewers. If you are invested in any aspect of imperial studies (broadly conceived), please consider volunteering in this capacity. These reviews are an important part of making this community vibrant. We publish a "New and Forthcoming Publications" of works produced by H-Empire members, and would like other members of our community reviewing these works. And hey: free book!

I have been appointed as the new book review editor for JHistory and I’d like to invite anyone who is interested in reviewing a book to get in touch with me. We have a long and impressive list of books available now and I’d love to start assigning them. The list includes exciting new titles on a wide variety of topics, both US and international. I would be eager to hear from both new reviewers and veterans.
Our reviews typically run between 1000 and 1800 words. I know we are all very busy and I will be flexible with deadlines.
