Announcement - Introducing the Jazayeri Kufic Qazvin font

The Jazayeri Kufic Qazvin font is a  typographic implementation of the decorative Kufic calligraphy inscribed on the walls of the historical grand mosque of Qazwin (Masjid-e-Jameh Atiq Qazvin) which is one of the oldest mosques in Iran. The oldest part of the mosque is said to have been constructed by the orders of Caliph Harun al-Rashid in 807CE. Later additions were made during the Seljuk and late Safavid eras. The mosque houses some of the most precious examples of relief calligraphy from medieval times.
