CFP: Discuss-a-Doc posts for www.GlobalMaritimeHistory.com
Very often, historians and scholars find documents that very cool, but they don't necessarily have a venue in which to talk about it. GlobalMaritimeHistory has created the 'Discuss-a-Doc' series of guest blogs to provide researchers with an opportunity to talk about those documents.

Celts in the Atlantic and Indian Ocean Worlds 1500-1960
The editors of the Journal of Medieval Worlds invite contributions for its inaugural issue, in the form of articles, essays, and book reviews. This University of California Press publication aims to serve as a forum for multidisciplinary scholarship on the world in the period between 750 C.E. and 1500 C.E. We particularly aim to foster research on underrepresented areas of the medieval world, broadly defined, as well as articles that explore interconnections across regions and cultures.
The Global Studies Association 2018 conference will take place on the 31st of May and the 1st of June at the University of Northampton's Park campus. Themes covered include migration and borders, the challenges of the anthropocene, human rights, globalisation and cultural change, and more! We look forward to meeting you there. There are traditional panels, stand-alone papers, as well as less conventional sessions including a video essay and a roundtable.
