Join us on September 6, 2018 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm to launch the New University in Exile Consortium, an initiative created by The New School to confront today’s surging threats to scholars around the world. The New UIE Consortium is a group of 11 like-minded colleges and universities, each of which is committed to hosting at least one endangered scholar.

Guerrilla War and Insurgency: Lessons from History
The ANPOR Annual Conference in 2018 will cover multidisciplinary topics related to the studies of public opinion research. This year’s conference will focus on the topic relating to public opinion research on the Politics, Big Data and Social Media. Therefore, the main theme will be “Developments of Media and Public Opinion in Asia”.
ANPOR welcomes abstracts and panel proposals related to the conference theme, including but not restricted to the following topics:

On October 4th, 2018, the working group on Institutional Erasure of Race: Violence across Time and Space will convene at University College London. The workshop is an attempt to study the different modes through which modern institutions have contributed towards structural violence in relation to racial discrimination.
