The usual definitions concerning the relations between mathematics and the body are traditionally predicated by ontological discourses: The mathematical estrangement of Cartesian essentialism installs a regime of truth that imposes a science and a silence to the logic of surfaces, skins and the flesh: No relation, merely subjection and submission to the given measured order. However, this mathematical and subsequently cybernetic longing for disembodiment is put into question with the augmenting, multiplying and re-coding of bodies in a culture of biodigital math and flesh.
