The EuroNoize conference is the first iteration of EuroNoize, a collaborative project held between the University of Reading, Kunsthall Oslo and A.R.E. Prague and funded by the European Commission.
Bertolt Brecht was confronted with the alien throughout his life. He was exposed to it everywhere he lived, and in all venues he inhabited, he was as a stranger among strangers. Furthermore, he made the experience of the alien into the linchpin of his entire artistic project.
A multidisciplinary research focusing on the complex interrelationship of music and literature has expanded rapidly in the recent years.
Conference registration for 'Intersections: Between Music and Theatre in Seicento Italy' is now open. This two-day conference, exploring the connections between theatre and music in seventeenth-century Italy, will be held on Thursday 20th September and Friday 21st September 2018 at the University of Cambridge.

"Mapping Spaces, Sounding Places: Geographies of Sound in Audiovisual Media" is the XIV. Symposium zur Filmmusikforschung of the Kieler Gesellschaft für Filmmusikforschung, in collaboration with the Dipartimento di Musicologia e Beni Culturali, Cremona (Università di Pavia).
Conference date and venue will be 19–22 March 2019 at the Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage (University of Pavia) in Cremona, Italy.
