Following up a very successful event last year, we would like to continue our interdisciplinary conversation about music performance in literature and its various representations in textual forms in poetry and prose. The proposed panel will analyze the relationship of music and music performance and the text within various national literatures, from 19th century to present day, by offering an overview of the different methodological approaches to this topic and investigating the role of music in literature.
