Academica Press, a leading independent non-fiction publisher, enthusiastically calls for manuscripts from dynamic young scholars in international relations seeking to publish cutting edge work, including dissertations, M.A. theses, policy papers, and book manuscripts, in its new series, "St. James's Studies in World Affairs." New publications will ideally be devoted to recent and newsworthy issues and make imaginative use of analysis, theory, and method. I am looking for an author to write a 5,000-6,000 word essay on Elizabeth Monroe as a Southern First Lady, based on original research, for an anthology I am editing. We have a publisher already for our volume, and all the other Southern first ladies are covered in chapters by a range of both prominent and emerging scholars; we just need your chapter to round out our volume! You would need to be able to finish this by the end of August, 2017, with perhaps a couple of weeks flexibility thereafter if needed.
Date: 16-17 November 2018
