The 43rd European Studies Conference welcomes papers on a range of topics in all disciplines. Founded in 1975, our interdisciplinary conference has drawn participants from colleges and universities from across the United States and abroad. Areas of interest include European art, history, literature, current issues in cultural, political, social, economic, or military areas; education, business, international affairs, religion, foreign languages, philosophy, music, geography, theater, and film.

The Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University would like to invite you to the academic programme Summer University Prague 2018: “Project Europe at a Crossroads: Building up open structures or breaking down into local identities?”, taking place in Prague (Czech Republic) during September 2018 (September 8 – 22).
This study programme is intended for students who are currently enrolled in a college or university or have recently graduated. The course is internationally acknowledged, successful participants will be given 4 or 8 ECTS credits, depending on their efforts.
