The 12th annual meeting of the Southern History of Science and Technology Conference (SoHoST) will be held at Mississippi State University on March 23-24, 2018. We invite faculty, graduate students, and independent scholars to submit proposals for papers on any topic in the history, sociology, or anthropology of science, technology, and medicine. Papers on pedagogy, research methods, and digital humanities are also invited. We especially encourage proposals for joint sessions or roundtables.

The program includes five one-month residence grants for young researchers, working on their PhD thesis or preparing them for publishing, and five two-week residence grants for advanced researchers. The program also provides for three residences in digital urban history, jointly with the Lviv Interactive project, an online-encyclopedia representing the history of Lviv through places and spaces.
