Call for Chapter Contributions
The SocialMediaLab@GSC invites essay submissions for a workshop on social media methodologies to be held at Pratt Institute on March 26th, 2019. The workshop aims to bring together scholars pursuing research on social media phenomena within the US and globally. We are particularly interested in papers that explore both ethnographic and critical visual methodologies in analyzing social media practices that address issues of social justice.

2019 marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Lingnan Culture Academy of Lingnan Normal University presents “The Second International Conference on Guangzhouwan’s History and Culture”. It is to be held in December 2019, Zhanjiang, Guangdong, China.
I am interested in organizing and presenting a paper as part of a panel on the modern Middle East for AHA 2020 in New York and am looking to connect with scholars interested in presenting papers on that subject and joining the panel.
Papers may focus on any country/countries in the Middle East and will preferably address subjects related to the post-WWI era.
