The Indian History Congress, the representative body of professional historians in India since 1935, invites annual members to renew their membership, and new members to apply for initial membership, to be eligible to participate in the 79th Session of the annual conference, which would make them eligible to present papers, and for their papers to be considered for publication in the Proceedings of the Congress. The Venue of the IHC this year is Pune, India.

In print for 50 years, Terrae Incognitae focuses on the history of exploration and is published by Taylor and Francis. Over the years, the journal has expanded from one to two issues per year, plus a thematic online-only edition.
Robin P. Chapdelaine and Lara Putnam are seeking contributors for an edited collection or journal special issue focused on child labor during the years leading up to independence in various colonies.
