Call for Authors in Australia & New Zealand
We are inviting academic editorial contributors who live in Australia and New Zealand to write for EBSCO’s “Explora for Australia and New Zealand” database. These 1,000-word overview articles are designed to assist students and library patrons during the key exploratory phase of a research project.
The International Committee for the History of Technologywill hold its 45th symposium and 50th anniversary celebration at the Jean Monnet University in the city of Saint-Étienne, France. The general theme of the symposium is “Technological Drive from Past to Future?50 years of ICOHTEC.” Our intention is to inquire into long-term trends in interactions between technology and society, as well as how technologies have influenced utopian and dystopian views of the future.

We are gearing up for our 2018 Canadian School of Peacebuilding! Come and join us in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada this June for another year of relationship building and peacebuilding training. We offer 5-day intensive courses that are available for professional development, personal inspiration, or academic credit. CSOP is a learning community of diverse peacebuilders who come together to learn, network and engage in peacebuilding. It is a great opportunity for peacebuilders from all faiths, countries, and identity groups. Everyone is welcome!
We are putting together a panel for the Western History Association Conference, October 17-20, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. The conference theme is "Reimagining Race and Ethnicity in the West." The panel theme would encompass the Southwest and its borderlands, dealing with public history, indigeneity, authenticity, commerce, and memory. The time period would stretch between the 19th and early 20th centuries.
