The Department of History of the College of Charleston invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the field of East Asian History. Applicants who study China or Japan are especially welcome, but any subfield will be considered. Candidates must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D.
Seeking manuscripts for new issues of Review of Culture in 2019-2020. Established in 1989, RC has continuously published scholarly articles in English, Portuguese, and Chinese pertaining to Macao, the Portuguese in Asia, and their connections with the wider world. RC aims to publish cutting-edge articles and critical reviews in the humanities, in history, anthropology, literature, art, performing arts, religious studies, and philosophy.
