Hi Marta, You should not be paying for any of the costs related to the publication of your book. It is possible that you would have to pay the copyright holder to use music lyrics and images, etc., if you are including them in your manuscript. There might be funding to cover the costs of copyright fees. In general, though, you shouldn't pay to have your book published unless you are self-publishing it. Since it is your dissertation, I suggest you submit a proposal to a university press or academic press.
