25th EAJRS conference in Leuven 17-20 Sept 2014

The 25th annual conference of the European Association of Japanese Resource Specialists (EAJRS) will be held this year at the University of Leuven in Belgium, 17-20 September 2014.

This year a special session will be devoted to Protection, Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Properties. But, as always, the conference will treat all sorts of subjects related to libraries, archives, museums and other collections related to Japanese studies.

We are now accepting registrations and proposals for presentations.

The registration deadline is set for 30 May 2014.

Fellowship - American Institute of Pakistan Studies Fellowship, Call for Applications

American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS) is now accepting applications for Short-term Fellowships! The deadline for the fellowship application, and corresponding materials, is July 1, 2014.

Short-term Fellowship requirements are:

Travel must be done in Pakistan
Travel duration is between one and five months
Must be enrolled/employed full-time in a US academic institution
