We’re incredibly excited by the enthusiastic response to the Oral History Jukebox Workshop, taking place at the 2018 AHA Annual Meeting this January! Thanks so much for your interest in contributing to the conversation.
As the workshop is nearly reaching capacity, we wanted to be sure to put one last call out for submitting excerpts to be included in our lightning round opener, with a new deadline of December 1.
Interested participants are asked to submit a 1-2 minute excerpt from an oral history interview that they find particularly fascinating or instructive, and to briefly explain what this particular moment has taught them about their approach to oral history—whether that be an insight into interview technique, processing, archiving, crowd-sourcing, or program management.
To submit an excerpt, please visit the Oral History Jukebox page on the AHA website: https://www.historians.org/annual-meeting/2018-program/oral-history-jukebox-workshop
We particularly encourage students and community historians to consider applying! Fortunately, AHA members can add students to their registration for only $10 each. If you have already registered, you can still add your students by calling the AHA at 508-743-0510 or visiting the registration resource center and selecting "Upgrade.” We’d be grateful if you circulate this information widely to your networks.

We look forward to reviewing your submissions and seeing you in D.C. this coming January!
